Abstract

In the current era of globalization, an organization must be able to adapt to the environment in which they carry out their organizational operational activities. The success of an organization is determined by two main factors, namely human resources or workers and supporting facilities as well as infrastructure or work facilities (Qomariah et al., 2020). Of these two main factors, human resources are more important than supporting facilities and infrastructure. Even though an organization has very complete and sophisticated supporting facilities, without adequate human resources both in quality and quantity, the organization cannot succeed in realizing the organization's vision and mission.
According to Moser (Singh & Sharma, 2016), when employees feel dissatisfied with their work, this will result in lethargy and decreased organizational commitment. Employee job satisfaction is reflected in psychological well-being that arises from fulfilling basic needs at work. This is reflected in the behavior of a hospital employee who shows dedication and love for his work. Job satisfaction is demonstrated through a strong work ethic, adherence to procedures, and consistent achievement. When employees feel a high level of job satisfaction, it encourages them to provide even better performance.
